Hotel Loreto San Francesco

The Hotel is quite close to the Sanctuary of Loreto and about 15 mins. by car to the nearest beach. It is within some lovely woodland grounds and appears to have ample outside parking. Although the hotel’s interior gives the impression of having aged, with stained carpets at the lobby, and the rooms could do with a good paint job, especially near the windows, it was very clean and comfortable with complimentary tea/coffee facilities and a small fridge. Maintenance of ventilation appears to be done well, a modern bathroom with excellent shower etc. The breakfast area was comfortable, spacious, bright, and adequately stocked for a nice morning meal. Again, helpful and attentive, welcoming staff. All in all, a nice experience and at a very reasonable price for a family of three. The hotel is mismanaged. We were among few guest on 11/15/21 (no more then 5 rooms in total occupied in the whole hotel) and they gave us the room next to their storage room. At 2 am in the morning they started stocking the room with clean bed sheets (dozens of them) and they woke us up with the noise, keeping us awake for more that one hour. I don't understand why you need to carry out this task at 2 am, knowing the next room has guests. This tells you a lot about the management. For the rest, the hotel is an old structure from the '70s, the carpet in the lobby and stairways is worn out and smelly. Breakfast was with stale croissant. Cappuccino was good.
